Privacy Policy

Kia ora koutou! This Privacy Policy lays out how 7bit.nz deals with your information when you pop onto our website. We reckon it's pretty important you understand what we do (and, in this case, mostly don't do) with your personal deets.

No Hookups for Your Personal Info

Here's the long and short of it: we don't actually gather any of your personal details whatsoever. Seeing as our site is just here to give out some info and doesn't have any sign-up sheets, user profiles, or ways for you to directly get in touch by handing over your data, we simply don't end up holding onto any personal info about you, full stop.

No Cookies, Sweet As!

Good as gold! You can cruise around our website knowing we don't use any cookies at all, not even a crumb. That means no sneaky tracking cookies following you around the net, no analytics cookies keeping tabs on your browsing, and no login cookies trying to remember who you are (because there's no place to log in, eh!).

No Third-Party Gizmos Embedded

We've kept things nice and uncluttered and haven't stuck in any bits and bobs from other websites, like videos, fancy fonts hosted elsewhere, or maps. This means your web browser won't be chatting away with other companies' servers that might be trying to see what you're up to online.

For Our Mates Over in the European Union

How do you do, folks in the European Union! Even though we're a fair hike away down here in Aotearoa, we're mindful of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we don't gather or process any personal data, heaps of the GDPR rules don't really apply to what we do on our website. But we still want to be straight up and down about our practices – or, more accurately, our lack of data snooping.

Give Us a Shout

If you've got any curly questions about this policy, you can flick us an email at [email protected]. We'll do our best to get back to you pronto.
